Three essential fishing knots
With these, you can tackle all applications. And they are easy to tie. Here are simplied diagrams of how to tie them.

Rapala Loop Knot
How to tie the Rapala loop knot to a lure. This is a simple loop knot that is strong and gives the lure some play so that it will swim with maximum action. I use it for all crankbaits.

Double Uni Knot
How to join two fishing lines with the double uni knot. I use this knot to tie fluorocarbon leader to braided line. Wrap the braid a couple more times than the fluorocarbon to get a good knot. This knot is relatively easy. Wet the lines as you pull them tight.

Palomar Knot
How to tie the palomar knot to a hook or lure. This is a strong knot that is easy to tie. It works with braided line and all others. So you don’t have to remember a ton of different knots.
